This is a 3 part car set is for lengthening the 37607 TEE diesel powered rail car train to a 7 car train. All of the cars have factory-installed interior lighting. Maintenance-free warm white LEDs are used for the lighting. The dining area in the galley car also has lighted table lamps. A continuous electrical connection through the entire train supplies the interior lighting and the table lamps with power. There are special multi-conductor current-conducting couplings and tightly fitting diaphragms with guide mechanisms between the cars. This set lengthens the train by 62.9 cm / 24-3/4".

The 37607 basic set can extended to a prototypical 7 part train with the 43117 add-on car set.
